As one of the few Board Certified Clinical Psychologists with over 30+ years of experience, I am here to help you.  I treat a full array of difficulties including depression, panic, OCD, relationship issues, anxiety-related emotional disorders, intrusive thoughts, stress-related issues, social anxiety problems and post-traumatic disorders.  Learn more about why selecting a Board-Certified Clinical Psychologist should matter to you.

Following a Ph.D. degree from Hofstra University in NY,  I then completed a 2-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) at Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia. Completing a Fellowship is not a requirement for licensing as a psychologist and therefore, as you might guess, very few psychologists have had this type of advanced clinical training. I was also invited to become a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Behavior Therapy & Experimental Psychiatry.

After moving from NY to Beverly Hills I served as a Clinical Psychologist at the UCLA School of Medicine and prior to that, I was the Chief Psychologist at Mt. Sinai South-Nassau Medical Center in New York, as well as a Clinical Psychologist for the hit TV series “Hoarders” on the A&E Television Network.

Since I am licensed in California, Florida, Hawaii, New York & Kansas, I continue to see patients from all of these States via Telehealth.  My own personal experience (as well the results of some large- scale studies) indicates that comparable outcomes can be expected from in-person and Telehealth visits.  So, no matter where I am located at the time of your visit, you can expect the same level of personal, concerned and competent care as during an in-person visit.

When you phone, I will answer your call personally, insuring your total privacy. You will never have to discuss your personal issues with a secretary or receptionist. Keep in mind that less than 5% of all Clinical Psychologists hold Board Certification from the American Board of Professional Psychology (look for the initials “ABPP” after their degree) and I am one of them.

To arrange an appointment simply email me at  BHpsychologist or, if you prefer, call me at (323) 701-1472. Arranging an appointment will be easy and always confidential.
